It's a nice steady ship for dinner cruise, but we left 20 minutes late (waiting for a late group to arrive) and missed the sunset. We came back on time so our cruise was shortened. The food was good for a group meal, but the tables where dinner was served were dirty. The main course was slow to arrive (about 90 minutes after start time). Participants were a mix of young couples, families with kids, and older folks. Soft drinks are included, but no alcohol is served, so bring your own. They checked COVID cards at boarding.

Our policy is to leave the dock at the scheduled departure time, but in this rare case we decided to wait for a group of elderly people who miscalculated their arrival time. It should not have happened and it is our fault. The main course is scheduled to be served about 45 minutes into the cruise and the desert is often served about 90 mins into the cruise, depending on the crowd. The Prince Kuhio is a classic 40 yr old boat with a lot of character. Passengers take a toll on the finish of the boat, especially the seating areas and we do out best to keep everything "ship shape". The tables and passenger areas are cleaned and sanitized multiple times a day and I can assure you that the boat isn't "dirty" but sometimes passenger expectations aren't met. We apologize that you didn't enjoy your trip as much as we had hoped, and worked so hard to ensure.
