The Dolphin Watching & Sunset Sail is a 2 hour cruise aboard the Island Time Sailing Catamaran which departs from the Lagoon Pontoons Marina in Panama City Beach, FL. Enjoy a rum punch while cruising along the beautiful Gulf Coast waters near Shell Island to look for dolphins and wildlife. Then watch the sun set over the horizon while listening to relaxing music. As the boat returns to the dock you can participate in fun games and dancing. (Please note: This tour departs from Panama City Beach, FL, which is about 3 hours East of Pensacola.)

We were 4 persons, availed this cruise at 6 pm on the 1st day of September 2018. The journey was monotonous, because the boat stood standstill or moved very slowly in the 2nd half, just to pass the time. The boat should go a little far. It was understood that "Snacks, drinks, and music" would be provided. But complementary snacks and drinks were not provided. Other cruises offer this facility and their rate is also less.

Although we did see some dolphin, I was disappointed with the cruise overall. We are locals and have sailed on other sunset cruises in Panama City Beach and this one was our least favorite. We turned back 15 minutes before sunset and didn't get to see anything. The other sunset cruises were still out on the Gulf waiting for the sunset. The web site advertises "games" and "dancing" with the crew on the sail back. The extent of that was passing out hula hoops. There was no interaction from the staff. It was a let down and we arrived back at the dock 10 minutes early. We would not use this company again.

I cant say enough good things about Island Time! We originally booked the sunset cruise and had such an amazing time that we went ahead and booked for the day time snorkeling cruise, a few days later. The entire crew were amazing and accommodating for children of all ages. My 10 and 6 year old both agreed that they had the most fun on both of our "boat" trips! The Rum punch was great, too! Highly recommend for all ages!
