At sunset, Oahu’s North Shore becomes magical, with colorful skies and billowing clouds that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a painting. This special time turns into an unforgettable experience when you witness it from horseback, traveling through quiet forests and beautiful mountain trails. That’s not to mention that at sunset everything cools down and all the birds start to sing. Trust us, it’s the best time of day to ride.

On the trail, you might see grazing cattle, native fruit trees, and even wild pigs. You’ll also have sneak peeks of the ocean below, leading up to the best part—a thrilling panoramic view from our scenic lookout. You’ll remember it for years to come.

Stay away from this place, terrible service. Booked a ride for my girlfriend birthday; It was her first ever time on a horse! So when our group checks in I told them her special day, and they average experience of all the riders.(How she was excited and nervous for her first time and how i grew up riding) And how Could I bring my camera to film her on the ride. They said yes and then they said they try to make it special for her. And then we were split up... her at the back of our 4 person group, myself at the front. Every other couple (and this was an entire ride made of couples) got to ride together. Before we even set off and we were lining up I was brought up this up, and was told theres nothing they could do the animals need to be in this order, its about the riders weights and animals dispositions. Best they could do is maybe get us near each other for a photo mid ride. ( Photos being iphone snapshots that you had to pay extra for). Cue the next hour riding in a line with strangers in front and behind me.(Our group being her bestie and partner who I just met) And my girlfriend off by herself without an experienced rider to keep her company. When I again adressed this after the ride, I was told the above about horse disposition and carrying weight. So I brought up how the woman in front of me and behind me weigh within 10 pounds of my girlfriend I was then was told "Well you shoulda told us you were together." We were constantly canoodling, holding hands and told to stand in our respective groups as to not be split. Just given excuses and told its my fault, and their rules. Blah blah blah. Then HOW and why were we the only couple split up in a ride of 10-12 people? Lame excuses. JUST over all HorseSh*t experience. EXPENSIVE and zero costumer service.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are disappointed that this was your experience as we aim for a 5 stars. It took us a while to track this down and speak with the employees that you interacted with. Mainly because the wranglers that took you are no longer working with us. We figured it out though because our goal with a poor review is to use it as training spot in hopes it will not happen again. Unfortunately the wrangler you spoke to was in training and didn’t know how to fix the problem and she didn’t ask the other wrangler for help to adjust the line order. I also spoke with the staff that checked you in and she also didn’t realize you were a couple. This is not an excuse and we discussed ways to avoid this from happening again. We are sorry that this was your experience and hope you will contact us directly. Mahalo

I had a great time with my 2 granddaughters. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The views were awesome and the weather was clear and cool.

This is a must-do on Oahu. True Paniolo Ohana, no tourist gimmicks. I'd do it again, and don't miss the hamburger from the locally grown beef cattle!
