What To Expect

Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Ride Co.

Upon meeting at the check-in office, your pilots and crew will transport you to the launch site location, where you will have the option to become hands-on and help the crew or take in the view as the gentle giant comes to life. Before loading into the basket, the pilot will conduct a safety briefing, so make sure to listen carefully! Then you are up, up and away into the beautiful Arizona sky.

Amazing!!!!! What an experience. I was very scared at first but everything from the beginning to end was very smooth. Jacob was our pilot and he was super professional and helpful. When you check in, you take a 25 minute ride with the rest of your group to the place. Then you watch the workers blow up the balloon (hard work!) and you can help too if you’d like. Then we got on and went up in the air for 45 min. When we landed it is a bit rough, just an FYI, but Jacob and crew did a great job. We celebrated with mimosas in the desert! 10/10!

We had the most amazing time on a sunset hot air balloon ride with Rainbow Ryders in Glendale, Arizona! From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome and at ease. Our pilot, Kyle, was not only highly skilled but also funny, which added so much joy to the experience. His jokes and lively personality kept us laughing and relaxed. Kyle shared interesting tidbits about the area, pointed out landmarks, and made sure we all had the best views for photos. There were 10 other balloons in the air surrounding us and the view was breathtaking, with colors that seemed unreal against the desert landscape. And Kyle’s humor made it feel like we were on an adventure with a friend, not just a pilot. After a smooth landing, we celebrated with a toast – another thoughtful touch from Rainbow Ryders that wrapped up the evening perfectly. I highly recommend this experience to anyone, especially with Kyle as your pilot. The combination of gorgeous scenery, smooth flying, and Kyle’s great sense of humor made it an unforgettable experience!
