What To Expect

Sonoran Desert National Monument

During your hour-long flight over the famous Sonoran Desert, you will have a 360-degree view no matter where you stand in the basket. The pilot will be your tour guide in the sky, explaining what you are looking at, how far you are going and how high you are ascending. Upon landing, you will be greeted with a celebratory toast (a tradition dating back to the 1800's) and each passenger will receive a commemorative flight certificate. Once the balloon is packed up and all passengers are ready to go, the pilot and crew will bring you back to the check-in point where you can purchase souvenirs to commemorate your aeronautical adventure. Upon meeting at the check-in office, your pilots and crew will transport you to the launch site location, where you will have the option to become hands-on and help the crew or take in the view as the gentle giant comes to life. Before loading into the basket, the pilot will conduct a safety briefing, so make sure to listen carefully! Then you are up, up and away into the beautiful Arizona sky.

What an amazing venture! We had an incredible pilot, Jesse! He was knowledgeable, funny, and all around great guy! The ride was so peaceful. We floated above buildings, the highway, and desert. Jesse landed the hot air balloon precisely in the right spot! Amid all the cacti, he directed the balloon so that the basket came to a smooth stop. The balloon began to deflate on the trail as the chase team did a great job of gathering, and loading it as we sipped mimosas while the sun set. It was hard to believe our time was over. Upon returning to the company’s base, we were served appetizers, and champagne with prickly pear juice....delicious! It was a delightful night!

Had a few hours to kill, so glad we took this ride. The price was right, the views absolutely breathtaking and Jesse and his crew were phenomenal. Loved it, next time in Phoenix will do again. Thanks for a memorable afternoon,highly recommended!!

Our group of 32 enjoyed amazing rides into the sunset. Our pilots and chase crews were fantastic! From pickup to return, to take off and landing, and the champagne toast and appetizers in between, we had an incredible, very memorable Christmas party. We had three balloons and three times as much fun! Thanks, Dan, for making this dream come true!
