What To Expect

Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Ride Co.

Upon meeting at the check-in office, your pilots and crew will transport you to the launch site location, where you will have the option to become hands-on and help the crew or take in the view as the gentle giant comes to life. Before loading into the basket, the pilot will conduct a safety briefing, so make sure to listen carefully! Then you are up, up and away into the beautiful Arizona sky.

This was one of my daughter's bucket list adventures. I was skeptical of course not knowing what to expect. I decided to give it a try. Jesse Newcomer was our navigator. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. He and his crew made this a very easy and pleasant experience. If you're looking for something different to do in Scottsdale, treat yourself to a hot air balloon ride. You'll be glad you did!

This is a MUST when in Phoenix. Also, obviously a "bucket list" item. For someone like me who is TERRIFIED of heights, it was very "freeing". It is professionally run and our pilot (Patrick) was an experienced professional which was very comforting. His laid back attitude was even more comforting. The whole extended family loved it. As an side, it is also a great deal.
