What To Expect

Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Ride Co.

Upon meeting at the check-in office, your pilots and crew will transport you to the launch site location, where you will have the option to become hands-on and help the crew or take in the view as the gentle giant comes to life. Before loading into the basket, the pilot will conduct a safety briefing, so make sure to listen carefully! Then you are up, up and away into the beautiful Arizona sky.

Our family of four, consisting of two adults and two young kids, had an absolutely amazing experience with Balloon Ryder. From start to finish, the customer service exceeded our expectations. The ground crew was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about their work. They took the time to share the history of the company and answered all of our children's curious questions with enthusiasm and patience. Our pilot, Jacob Little, was exceptionally skilled and ensured that our sunset ride was smooth and free of turbulence. Throughout the flight, he prioritized our safety, making us feel secure and well taken care of. The experience concluded with a delightful champagne toast, where we learned about the history of champagne in relation to hot air ballooning. It was the perfect way to celebrate our adventure! I can't recommend Balloon Ryder enough! This experience was truly unforgettable for our family, and we can't wait to do it again. I recommend sunset ride so you can have more energy to soak in the adventures! It’s mildly hot due to the fire so don’t wear thick jackets, thin layers are recommended!
