What To Expect

Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Ride Co.

Upon meeting at the check-in office, your pilots and crew will transport you to the launch site location, where you will have the option to become hands-on and help the crew or take in the view as the gentle giant comes to life. Before loading into the basket, the pilot will conduct a safety briefing, so make sure to listen carefully! Then you are up, up and away into the beautiful Arizona sky.

It was my birthday trip to Phoenix this year and the hot air balloon ride organized by Rainbow Ryders was definitely the highlight of it. I was impressed how well organized everything was: from the moment of your arrival at the office to check in to the fast flying of the balloon in the air, from the shuttle ride to the place where "the action happens" to the little celebration of your successful ride at the end. It was incredible! Our pilot in command Brooks was not just very knowledgeable and knew all the answers to our questions, but also very experienced (and trust me, it shows!). So one can rely on him, "sit back" and relax enjoying the stunning views of the valley! I would certainly recommend this probably -once-in -a- lifetime -experience to everyone!!

Rainbow Ryders is a top notch run organization from your booking process all the way to your champagne toast after your flight. Patrick and his ground crew (Sorry I forgot your names! You guys were great too!) worked quick and efficiently together setting the balloon up and subsequently packing it all back up after our ride. My husband and I chose the sunset ride. I am nervous when flying and not keen on heights, but this ride was so smooth and the views so amazing that I was fine. Patrick kept us entertained and was so informative the entire trip, pointing out different sights while in flight, telling us various facts and generally just talking to us all, kept the trip interesting and so much fun. Loved every minute! Would 100% recommend Rainbow Ryders!!

This was my first time in a hot air balloon and I was a bit nervous about what to expect. The entire crew were welcoming and made me feel comfortable throughout the experience. Jesse our pilot was funny and informative as we floated through the air on a majestic late afternoon in Phoenix. I would highly recommend this to anyone! Rainbow Ryders is first class from start to finish. The champagne at the end was a nice touch to celebrate the sunset and the charcuterie board back at the office after the balloon ride was yummy. Thank you to all of the staff for making this such a memorable afternoon!
