Must do! Husband and son loved the sunset bay kayak tour. Highly recommend - well guided - worth every penny!! You can see so much more from the water than the bridge.

This tour was a great way to get an overview of Austin from a different vantage point. LadyBird Lake is an integral part of the city and widely used for kayaking and other activities. Going at sunset also created some beautiful views as the light changed around the skyline. We had an unusually warm December day, so that made the tour all the better. Our guide, Collin, was knowledgable and kept the tour moving seamlessly throughout. Thankfully, there was no one on the tour who had difficulty with the paddling, so our tour group stayed togethter without a problem. It was very worthwhile!

Connor was a great guide and we had a fantastic time on our tour. We learned a lot about Austin, the architecture, bats, and local history. We got some quality exercise to boot! That said, this company needs to do a better job communicating the parking situation at their boat launch. They emailed us detailed directions telling us exactly where to park, directing us to the building next door in the spots indicated with signs. However, there were no signs, so we were stuck circling the parking lot looking for them, until the guy at the arcade just told us to park wherever. Also, would it kill them to order some drip rings for the paddles?

Thanks so much for coming out with us! Hopefully you'll get to experience our new drip rings we're getting for our next season.
