I created this experience to be a very authentic day/morning in the life of a surfer. Not just a surf lesson. Guests and truly treated as family...Like going for a surf with your uncle Micah and really receive not only a comprehensive and thorough lesson, but also are immersed in an authentic experience that for some; create a new passion and way of life. Today we had our first surfing experience as a family. Micah took us out on a great trip, looking for the best beach for our initiation. He teached and guided us in a nice way, so we could catch our first waves. We had a lot of fun as Micah is a real entertainer, pleasantly disturbed (in a good way really). We did sing along in the car, checked out a viewpoint on the way back.. . All part of the experience. Grateful for this super fun afternoon!

Micah is a great teacher and I can say that even though I'm only half way through my 6 lessons. I purchased a 6 lesson pack and have gotten up on all 3 days so far and am learning how to identify which waves are good to catch and also I've learned how to turn the board successfully and ride the face of the waves. I highly recommend Micah and I can't wait until the next lesson!

Surfing with Mika in Santa Barbara was an incredible experience! Mika is not only very friendly but also an excellent teacher. As a first-time and second-Time surfer (2 people lesson), I felt completely at ease with his guidance and patience. He took the time to explain the basics thoroughly and made sure everyone was comfortable in the water. The location was beautiful, and the whole experience was both fun and educational. Highly recommend this surfing lesson to anyone visiting Santa Barbara!
