Surfing - Group Lesson - Waikiki, Oahu

Overview

Learn to surf on this 2-hour group lesson on Oahu. Join a group of students and discover how to ride the waves like some of the Island's most famous celebrities with the help of a certified, professional instructor. We have small student to instructor ratio of 1 instructor for every 3-4 students. Waikiki Surf Lesson starts a 10 minute safety slide show inside our surf shop, followed by heading to the beach and practicing on the sand for another 10 minutes. In our 20 year experience, we know that surfing is muscle memory, so when first timers master their surf stance then they tend to get up on their very first wave.

I've taken another surfing lesson and didn't stand up. With Niko and the other instructors, I stood up first try! This was an amazing experience. I've always wanted to learn to surf, and couldn't stand up. With these folks, I probably rode close to ten waves. The instructors are very knowledgeable, and kind. They did a great job!

Had a blast!! Ella was amazing and we all got up and road a ton of waves. 2 hours was the perfect amount of time. We were all exhausted by the end. My teenagers loved every second of it and said it was the best part of our trip.

I was pretty nervous leading up to it as I’m not a super fit person but the instructors were really kind and understanding. They even gave me a lift back to shore as I got out earlier. The experience was a 10/10 and definitely makes me want to surf again.
