I used Big Wave Dave 2 years ago and again on this vacation visit. Same great experience From phone call with Crystal and at the shop great customer service from Hans. Rented a surf board for myself and a surf lesson for my girlfriend. Lee was great with Jennifer on the lesson. The board selection for me was very good. Love the store too, it's a very nice layout and found my self buying some more of the Big Wave Dave logo merchandise. Great coffee too. Big Wave Daves will be my only choice in Oahu for my surf needs.

Never been surfing before, but it was a friendly, educational, and adventurous atmosphere. Waves were low that day which was good for first timers. Perfect intro to the activity.

Instruction was great and the instructor made it really fun for my teens. They both got up multiple times! Would do it again!
