What an amazing experience! Chris was so kind and patient. I can’t believe I actually was able to surf the first time. Although I took a group lesson, I feel it was completely individualized to each of us! What fun!

Big Wave Dave’s is the best! Our beginners were up and riding waves on first lesson! Chris was FANTASTIC! Patient, fun, and energetic. The entire staff was friendly and attentive and they have the world’s greatest donuts! We spent lots of days in this shop eating breakfast, renting surfboards, and taking lessons. Just a great vibe!

Awesome team! First time to try and was able to get up and catch my first waves. Great team. Easy to coordinate, they team was incredibly friendly and nice, now I understand the aloha attitude. Groups were small to ensure that you have good time with the teacher. They take you to a smaller, more private beach which is nice because you don’t have to compete with a whole lot of other people for space. Will be making more reservations here when we return…
