Taco Bike Tour

Overview
Tucson is well known as a food town and bike town. We ride to where the best Mexican cuisine resides. If you are looking for the real deal, it’s south side or no side. Will the places you visit be trendy? No. Will they delicious? Sí.

Enjoy 4 authentic tacos from the best local spots: birria, pastor, fish or shrimp, rasurado and a Sonoran hotdog on top, they are a Tucson specialty.

The tour is approximately 10 miles on flat terrain. Enjoy cruising around the south side of Tucson, a unique area overlooked by many visitors. For the 6pm start time, lights and a reflective vest are provided.

We had the evening ride and even though it was dark there was plenty of light and we felt safe. We stopped at four different food stands and had a great variety with some great flavors. The final leg of the ride was on the bike path around Tucson that was relatively flat an the bike lights were plenty.

Yes, it’s getting dark early this time of year. The 3pm taco tour is mostly quite light, but has dusk-like conditions at the very end. I’m glad you enjoyed the variety . . . that’s what I’m going for.

We took this tour on the first day of our week vacation in Tucson. It was a fun, informative, delicious way to be introduced to the city. Thought it was a bit pricey, but Jim was a great guide and we certainly enjoyed the tour.

I’m glad you enjoyed the tacos and tour! As for pricing, I actually make less money on the taco tour than my other tours despite it taking more time and having a lower rider capacity. Food costs definitely have gone up and I have not raised my prices . . . yet.

Jimmy was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable. He gets you around Tucson safely. Tons of fun and yummy tacos. I would definitely do this tour again if I’m ever back in Tucson!
