Overview

Tucson is well known as a food town and bike town. We ride to where the best Mexican cuisine resides. If you are looking for the real deal, it’s south side or no side. Will the places you visit be trendy? No. Will they delicious? Sí.

Enjoy 4 authentic tacos from the best local spots: birria, pastor, fish or shrimp, rasurado and a Sonoran hotdog on top, they are a Tucson specialty.

The tour is approximately 10 miles on flat terrain. Enjoy cruising around the south side of Tucson, a unique area overlooked by many visitors. For the 6pm start time, lights and a reflective vest are provided.

Highly recommend - fun!! How bad can it be to ride & eat? Jimmy is very knowledgeable about Tucson's history and provided interesting tidbits along the way. All of the tacos were delicious and different. It was a way of seeing downtown and the south side of the city in a way I would not have done on my own. Just do it, you'll be glad you did.

Everyone in our group agreed that this was a great experience. We were very impressed with the food, especially our first stop--excellent authentic tacos! We were very happy that one of our food stops was a food truck for a Sonoran hot dog, something we had wanted to try. It exceeded our expectations! Biking was a great way to see South Tucson and we definitely needed Jimmy's guidance to find our way around and give us some interesting background on the area. It was a very nice, easy ride. The only recommendation I have is to give more time at each stop and spread it out a bit. I felt a bit rushed at each stop, gobbling up our food. The first two stops were on the same block, so we ate two tacos, a Sonoran hotdog, and a can of pop in about 20 minutes.

An easy 9 mile bike ride takes you to through several South Tucson neighborhoods, what a great way to experience the city. I never would have found the places we went on the tour. Jimmy is a great guide and made the whole experience very chill & relaxed. Delicious variety of tacos. Highly recommend.
