Taco Bike Tour

Overview
Tucson is well known as a food town and bike town. We ride to where the best Mexican cuisine resides. If you are looking for the real deal, it’s south side or no side. Will the places you visit be trendy? No. Will they delicious? Sí.

Enjoy 4 authentic tacos from the best local spots: birria, pastor, fish or shrimp, rasurado and a Sonoran hotdog on top, they are a Tucson specialty.

The tour is approximately 10 miles on flat terrain. Enjoy cruising around the south side of Tucson, a unique area overlooked by many visitors. For the 6pm start time, lights and a reflective vest are provided.

We highly recommend the Taco Bike Tour as it was definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Tucson! Jimmy went above and beyond our expectations. We felt completely safe and at-ease as he guided us with hand signals and verbal instructions through the streets and colorful neighborhoods of the city. His knowledge of Tucson (both past and present) made for great conversations about the people, culture, and food. Definitely come hungry and be prepared to eat the best tacos Tucson has to offer. We enjoyed the food from those local restaurants so much that we ended up returning to a couple of them before leaving Tucson!

We chose the taco tour for something different and because most food tours are not operating during COVID. Jimmy throws in quite a bit of history and area info on this tour also. You get to see a side of Tucson most tourists never experience. BE HUNGRY - you will get a lot of delicious food - and a great variety. Bikes are top notch and you can trust Jimmy with your safety. You also get a nice ride on "The Loop" trail through part of town. We will try the historical tour next time we are in town. We went on a weekday and ended up having a private tour.

We took our teenage kids on this tour, we all had a great time. Bikes were well maintained and relatively low resistance making it an enjoyable experience. Come hungry, soooo much food but all of delicious. Highly recommend
