Around the world all In one street, that’s exactly the. Best way I can describe this tour. You’ll be surprised the history found just in Mulberry street from Nolita, to Little Italy to China Town. From Black hand, to Tenements, to St. Patrick’s church and more. This street holds a lot of history and GOOD FOOD!!!!! Aside from the fact that our guide was awesome, we got to taste food from Spain, France, Vietnam, USA, Italy and Hong Kong. I mean, hey, that’s like an explosion of senses. Putting the best dishes of those countries, learning history all in one tour. This is definitely another tour I would do all over again and Liz, our guide has so many inside tips and knowledge about New York city. She was able to give us local cafes and local hang out places that we definitely wanted to vist, we visited and those were really good finds so this is a tour that you get a lot of! Would do it again and would recommend it to friends for sure.

Has a taste of the world in one street? Well, come to Mulberry Street in New York! Not our first food tour, but definitely one of the best we've had in New York. Mainly because of three things: 1. All-in-one tour. Our food tours usually involve a lot of walking in a certain area that can get quite overwhelming. While the Taste of Mulberry Street by Ahoy New York literally took us around the world in one street. Running through Nolita, China Town, and Little Italy, Mulberry street is home to a rich and diverse culture as it converges people from both the western world and Asia. We had a total of 6 tastings featuring dishes of various cuisines. It literally felt like Around the World in One Street. 2. Diversed Food Selection. The tour tickled our palates from a Churreria, a cheese shop, a pizzeria (best one - Vodka Sauce Pizza), a Vietnamese diner, to a dessert shop. 3. Awesome, enthusiastic guide - Liz. Aside from being very knowledgeable, Liz was very upbeat and it’s obvious that she had a lot of knowledge about New York. After the tour, She even suggested that we should visit Governor’s island after which I think was a brilliant suggestion. We started our tour with a great dessert and ended with an even better one. Of course, most of us were really happy. Plus , apart from the rich history of Mulberry street, we went around the world through food all in the same street. We did Spain, France, USA, Italy, Vietnam and finally Hong Kong—- how can I complain about that? It feels like a good balance of everything. I must warn you though, as compared to other tours I’ve tried, this one involved a lot of walking and standing so make sure to use comfortable shoes. It’s not a hard walk, in fact, you will see a lot of interesting things along the way but you will be on your feet most of the time. There are 2 restos where you can have a proper seat like for the pizza and the pasta. All else, you will be on your feet, listening and eating at the same time. It would be good if you also prepare yourself for rain, shine, cold or heat . We were lucky we had a cloudy day with a bit of sunshine every now and then so we didn’t worry about getting wet but it was cold though.

Hello and thanks so much for your enthusiastic review! We are thrilled you had a great time on our trip around the world, A Taste of Mulberry street. Our goal is to walk less than half a mile and along the way enjoy a sit down experience at 3-4 of the locations. As a walking food tour, we also stand outside and eat at two tastings in the way these foods were meant to be experienced. We totally agree dressing for the right weather and comfort levels is super important! :) We hope we see you again on our other walking food tour soon. Happy eating!

Liz was our guide for a Taste of Mulberry Street tour. Liz was very friendly and enthusiastic, a great guide! We traveled the world on a walk down Mulberry Street with a little history and lots of food. We started with churros and chocolate from Spain, cheese from France, falafel and humus from Israel, vodka pizza with fresh buffalo mozzarella from Italy, spring rolls from Vietnam, and ending with a waffle/ice cream sundae from Hong Kong! Everything was delicious, and we all got very full! Definitely recommend this tour!
