Taste of SLO - Uptown Mojo Walking Food Tour

Overview

Experience the upbeat and intriguing uptown "Mojo" area of San Luis Obispo by tasting your way through five unique restaurants. You may taste french style rotisserie meats, local grown produce, elote off the cob, local beer, chocolate shakes, speciality cocktails, clam chowder, thai food etc. This tour includes all food and alcoholic drinks, no surprise expenses here! Tours are approx three hours, walking a total of 1.5 miles. This tour is suitable for flexitarians, pescatarians, and omnivores. We can not fully accommodate vegetarians or vegans at this time. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. This tour includes a a moderate amount of walking and we recommend wearing comfortable foot wear, and a light layer as evening temperatures drop quickly. We will be visiting 5 destinations in total.

As a local we took this tour to try some places that perhaps we hadn’t been to before which worked out great! The food was fantastic and each restaurant was prepared and happy to have us there. Our guide Angee, was awesome! Knowledgeable and engaging, we found her to be the perfect guide for this.

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!!!! We just went on the Taste of SLO MOJO tour. This is our second walking tour with Taste of SLO. We did the downtown tour a year ago. I did not think it could be better than the first but it was. Angee is an incredible tour guide - both in terms of the food, the restaurants and the area. She explained things and made the entire tour a joy. Angee made sure everyone was involved and we all had a great time. By the end, it was like we were all old friends. We can’t say enough about Angee and Taste of SLO. We HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who likes food and walking.

We had such a great time learning about history of SLO and tasting some amazing food! We will be back again to do a food tour with Taste of SLO!! (and we'll be back to go to the restaurants we got to taste from!). Book this experience if you want to have an amazing backstory of SLO and great restaurants!!!
