Nine of us signed up for the Pike Place Market Tour and Marcia was our guide. She was dressed all in purple, had a hat and the brightest smile! She carried several bags and had whatever we needed for left overs, hand sanitizer, napkins, etc. We were suppose to have 8 tastings and ended up with 11 and they were all excellent. We had one lady who needed gluten free food and Marcia was very aware of what that meant and went out of her way to make sure the lady had plenty of gluten free samples! We also had a couple ladies who were not comfortable on their feet for that long and she made sure they had stools to sit on when ever available. Our tour was suppose to be 2 1/2 hours long and went an extra hour and we all enjoyed the extra time. She knew the history of Pike's Market and made it very interesting! Thank you Marcia!

I wasnā€™t sure if I wanted to do a food tour and have what I ate picked for me and I eat a gluten free diet. SO GLAD I CHOSE TO DO THIS! Marcia was great at explaining the history! AND I had the most delicious, gluten free food! I would highly recommend this tour and I would absolutely do it again!

The pike place market tour with Marcia was an amazing experience as a first time visitor for me. She is well informed and updated about the history and operations of the market place and certainly knows all the best places to eat. I mention this as it was a food tour. There is no dull moment with Marcia as she keeps the mood alive with her energy and humor. She makes you extremely comfortable and as she says she is certainly the mom on this tour! Comfortable walking shoes would be a great choice for this tour. I had a great time and felt I couldn't have had a better way of exploring this place.
