We 4 women went on the 2pm tour with Marcia who is a Seattle native and has been going to the market since childhood. It is about 2 1/2 hours and she discusses history, restauranteurs, crafts, art and artisans, and tips for negotiation of this crowded site. She has a kind heart and is loaded with energy. I also enjoyed her sense of humor. The food stops were plentiful and many delicious. I particularly enjoyed samosas, chowder, smoked salmon, salmon burger and gelato. You will definitely be full by the end of the tour! Another bonus is that you get a discount at some of the stops if you purchase then. It is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes. Another great thing is she tries to accommodate food allergies or dislikes. Definitely worth the tour price.

This was one of the highlights of our vacation! We learned about the history of the market and tasted many things from donuts, salmon, gelato, truffle oil and more ( Well worth the money!) Our tour guide, Marcia, went above and beyond to make it a great experience. Marcia called me about allergies and if there was anything she should avoid the night before the tour, I told her that my daughter was allergic to tree nuts and eggs but not to worry about feeding her because she only eats a few things. Marcia said she would bring her apple chips, so that if she didn't eat the tasting she could have that. Well, Marcia not only brought the apple chips, she found many adventure bites for my daughter. When the rest of the tour was eating salmon, Marcia even pulled out fish from her magic bag for my daughter, they were Swedish Fish and made my daughter smile!!! I highly recommend this tour, we were so full from the 2 o'clock tour we skipped dinner that night!!!!!
