Leslie was amazing! Her love of Seattle and particularly the Pike Place Market was evident. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and her narration was interesting. She struck a great balance of talking, walking, and eating. We had some great tastes, too. We knew it was going to be good when she showed up for the tour with hot, fresh donuts. I can't imagine a better way to explore the Pike Place Market than with this tour.

Leslie was wonderful! We totally enjoyed the colorful history of Pike Place. Our guide gave us a insiders view of how the market actually operates. The tour started with a doughnut and ended with a wonderful salmon burger. Bring your appetite and see all the market!

Horrible tour and tour guide who showed a total lack or professionalism. The guide met us at Vital T Leaf with a cigarette in his mouth and continued to smoke while introducing himself to us. He wore no identification or anything to indicate that he was from Seattle Food Tours. We were shocked to find out that he was our guide. Right away he started to complain about having to be there so early in the morning just for the two of us. He offered us a doughnut that was in a greasy brown bag in which he had been eating out of. He looked dirty and disheveled and frankly we were ashamed to be seen with this person. He looked and smelled like a bum.

We had a total of four food tastings including the greasy doughnuts. He constantly talked with food in his mouth. After less than two hours we could no longer stand being with this person anymore and left the tour early. Horrible experience!!!
