It's a fun day for the young shopper who is on a budget and enjoys the thrill of the hunt. Get ready to thrift your way through the city with your teen at the best shops for fun and inexpensive clothing!

Experience 2.5 to 3 hours of guided second-hand shopping in New York City created just for teens. Your teen will shop like a true New Yorker visiting the lesser known second-hand shops that only a local would know. We’ll walk approximately 1.5 miles, visit up to 6 second-hand stores, and spend 20 min at each location.

Young girls shop very differently from adults: Teens tend to prefer current trends worn by their peers; renew their wardrobe far more frequently than adults; are less fussy about fabric content; spend less money on a garment than an adult.

Suzanne took my 19 and 17 year old daughters vintage/thrift shopping. The girls loved it! Suzanne took them to hidden gems we never would have found on our own as Toronto tourists. Suzanne was knowledgeable and friendly and both girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Both girls picked up several items that they love at a deep discount. Highly recommend for your teens that love to thrift!!

Suzanne was very helpful in planning this shopping trip. My teen daughter bought a few dresses, some nice shirts, a sweater and basic black jeans. I bought a nice wide leather belt and we both found accessories. Suzanne had a lot of great suggestions and she even offered a few suggestions that I had chosen for my daughter because I knew my daughter wouldn’t consider it if I suggested it. Suzanne can sift through quality easily. She’s clearly an experienced shopper and knows the good New York brands. The whole trip was delightful and definitely geared towards what we wanted to shop for. She also gave us a list of great shopping spots, but we definitely preferred the individualized tour. We would definitely do this trip again on another visit to New York City.
