I experienced a four hour off-road guided tour yesterday with a group of my coworkers. We had an exceptional time from start to finish. Booking was a breeze, and Matt and Kevin guided us through a fantastic afternoon of adventurous fun!
We were a group of older (50/60+) women, and were a bit hesitant at the beginning since this was something completely new and different for each of us. The staff did a wonderful job of explaining things and encouraging us along the way allowing us to feel confident and secure, while still having tons of fun. We felt safe throughout the entire experience thanks to their constant communication through the two-way radios on our vehicles.
The warnings about getting wet were no joke. We were continuously drenched throughout the day as we rode through streams of water, but it felt great on such a hot afternoon.
We were grateful for the loaner helmets and high-quality goggles that they provided for us to wear. One important note, we each purchased a gaiter from them to wear on our faces to protect us from the dust in the air. Make sure to pack five dollars to purchase one, or bring your own from home. Canāt imagine doing this ride without it, as we were covered in dust.
It was a 45 minute drive for us from Franklin, so it makes for a great outing for anyone in the Middle Tennessee area, and the drive to and from was beautiful to boot.
I was really surprised by how comfortable the ride was. I envisioned it being four hours of rough and tumble bouncing around, but the way those vehicles are made, and the incredibly comfortable seats made it a pleasure that I didnāt expect.
Besides the fun and adventure of riding on the ATVs, we also enjoyed the commentary throughout the day telling us about the history and locals in the area we were riding through.
Another thing to note, there are no bathroom breaks along the way, but at one stop, we had the opportunity to sneak into the bushes and ābe with natureā. *wink* (They even provided the TP for us Lol)
Overall, this was an amazing experience, and we definitely plan to come back with our families in the future!
