We LOVED our “Mint Julep Experiences” tour to Jack Daniels and George Dickel. Our group of family and friends filled the mini-bus. Our driver, Joe was wonderful and patient with us as two people in our party had a scheduling mix up. Joe and Jonathan (who was in training for the tour) were quite informative and filled with interesting tidbits. Our first stop was a quick stint at Lynchburg’s historic town square, where we had about 30 minutes to shop. Next, we were whisked off to Miss Mary Bobo’s Restaurant for lunch. What a treat! They served a delicious, family-style, southern hospitality lunch. The Incredibly tasty comfort food was brought to the table and passed around. And, for any dish we emptied, they happily brought refills. Along with lunch, we were treated to a history of the house and Mary Bobo’s significance in the town. This stop was a wonderful and unexpected plus! From lunch, we headed over to Jack Daniels to take our tour of the distillery. Very interesting tour and beautiful grounds! The tasting session at the end where we tasted 5 whiskeys was terrific! Then we piled back onto our bus and headed to the Cascade Hollow Distilling Company for George Dickel. The distillery tours had not yet resumed (since being shut down during Covid), but we did get to go into the tasting room and sample a handful of whiskys - George Dickel doesn't use the "e". It was a great day and it flew by! I highly recommend this tour!

Amazing time at the distillery with my Husband for Valentine’s Day, Anthony was well versed in the history and process of making all different whiskeys. Very good job to him. Felt welcomed throughout the entirety of the experience. Will come back soon !

Our family took two tours (over two days) with Mint Julip tours, both with our friend (guide) Zach...and to sum it up, I wish we had booked more days!!! My family (husband, self, 10 yr/old and 21 yr/old sons) planned a trip to Nashville to celebrate our oldest son turning 21. I tend to be an over planner, and from the first encounter to the last Mint Julip delivered! Starting with a internet request for information I was greeted by Emily. She called, emailed and answered questions (lot of questions) in a sweet, patient and extremely professional manner. I had issues with payment online and she went above and beyond to get it taken care of. We booked two tours, over two days. The first one included four distilleries and the other tour had two distilleries; both included a lunch stop. Zach was our guide on both tours and I can say he was THE BEST guide we have had in a long time! My husband and I combined, have traveled to 27 countries and taken dozens of guided tours, Zach stands out in the top tier of guides. His knowledge of the area, his care and concern for our families enjoyment, and thoughtful gestures of awesomeness really sets him apart (REQUEST HIM BY NAME IF BOOKING WITH MINT JULIP!). The tours went smoothly and the venues were well picked. I highly recommend their company.
