We decided to take a private tour of SF because my wife had injured her foot. We saw much more in a short amount of time than we have seen on other tours that were as long. The advantage of this private tour was the size of the van he drove. It was not excluded in many areas as larger vehicles would have been. I have gone to SF for many years and would say without question this was the most extensive tour I have been on. we saw things on this tour I have never seen before. Our driver was Brain. He was well versed in SF history and in current events. He was a safe driver and courteous as well. SF is not everyones cup of tea, but this tour will show you the city like no other in my experience.

We booked a private tour with Brian and could not have been more pleased! I had never been to San Francisco and was looking for a way to learn about the history of the city as well as see the sights. After reading all of the reviews on TripAdvisor we choose San Francisco Tour Co and I’m so glad we did. We toured the city in the comfort of a sweet mini-van, stayed for as long or as little as we wanted at each stop, went places the big buses could not go, had great snacks, and had a knowledgeable tour guide in Brian who was available to answer all of our questions. I’m not sure what else you could possibly be looking for in a tour. On top of all of that he was flexible with our pick up and drop off location since it was a private tour, and even though it was a private tour with just 4 people, it was less expensive than a lot of the other options we looked at. If you are looking for a great tour of San Francisco you can stop now because you just found it.

Happened upon the tour on Groupon, and am so thankful I did! I have been to San Francisco a few times before but always when it was cold and rainy so I never got to see all of the sights! This trip however, 9/1/18, was forecast to be a sunny day, so I booked tickets for myself and my friend who lives in SF and we met the van at Pier 39. Our group included a lovely couple from Auckland, New Zealand, and I was visiting from Long Beach, CA. In the description of the tour, it mentioned multiple photo stops, and I figured that we would have to jump out, click a couple of photos, and jump back in the van. Not the case at all!! Brian gave us plenty of time to enjoy the location, take as many photos as we wanted, and all the while filled us in on history, or personal anecdotes or fun factoids about the location. We literally saw everything that you would want to see on a San Francisco vacation trip, and he even surprised my friend who lives in the city on some locations he didn't even know existed, and also gave us ideas of things to go back and check out closer, or simply things to do while in the city. Also, he provided locally sources snacks and had water bottles for everyone, so it was definitely a nice touch and much appreciated! I would recommend it to anyone who would prefer a more intimate experience instead of the large double decker busses or large vans. I actually think that I may take the tour again just for the amazing photo opportunities!
