Teton View Horse Riding with Lunch

Overview

We start our climb up to Ann’s Pond where we can often see moose having a drink, then we climb up to Ann’s Ridge where we have lunch (included), stretch your legs and take in the spectacular 360 lookout, including breathtaking views of the majestic Grand Teton mountains. We continue our return on Ann’s Ridge Loop and down the historic Bryan’s Flat logging road back to Willow Creek headquarters. This trailride takes place 100% in the Bridger Teton National Forest and makes a full loop, allowing you to experience new scenery and views throughout the entire ride.

We had a most perfect experience with Willow Creek!! Our guide Kenzy was so pleasant and talkative, kept a check on everyone and tack adjustments if needed. The trails were enjoyable and such beautiful sites for photos. Lunch was filling and conversations fun! My husband had not ridden for many years…his horse “Cherokee” was a perfect match and so fitting since his biz name is Cherokee Feed and Seed back home. “Commanche” was a complete gentleman for my experience, would have taken him home with me! We will be back to enjoy this again and the nice folks that run this wonderful trail riding place! Btw…enjoyed seeing Richard (owner I believe) at the rodeo in town and his brave involvement with being in the arena photographing the excitement there!! I would give Willow Creek and Kenzy a 10+ !!!

Absolutely beautiful country and a great experience. They make the ride super easy whether you are experienced or not. My daughter and I had some time riding horses. The two horses we had, Yellowstone and Tequila, were extremely well behaved. The ride itself is four hours long with a 30 minute break for lunch. They brought waters for us but we had our own too. It can get quite warm in the high altitude sun so dress in layers. There are a couple of muddy and hilly areas but no worries the horses know what to do. The views of the Tetons were very nice and our guide Kenzie was super friendly and helpful. We stopped in a beautiful valley for lunch which was a sandwich, chips, and cookies. Would highly recommend Kenzie and the very nice ride.
