This day is packed with a variety of stops. We had Ray as our driver and he was fantastic. He shared many different facts about the area and made if fun with his sense of humor. We first visited LBJ's boyhood home, and then on to the Texas White House. We then had a couple hours in Fredericksburg and time enough for lunch. Then on to Luckenbach for a short visit. Ray was great about asking where people wanted to spend time. If they ask you - spend little time in Fredericksburg. Lunch was great at the Fredericksburg Brewery but the stores were expensive and most did not carry items made locally. Spend more time at the LBJ stops and definitely spend more time at Luckenbach. There is cold beer and music there - we didn't have any time after exploring the small gift shop to really kick back and relax there. This trip was a great experience and highly highly recommend.

This was a wonderful day from the start to finish! Our driver and tour guide Jose Y. was so knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned so much and saw so many sights along the way - Johnson City, Luckenbach and Fredericksburg to name a few. Had lunch in Fredericksburg at the Aus Lander Restaurant (recommended by Jose and it was DELICIOUS). We were given plenty of time to shop in the town. Stopped for homemade peach ice cream at Gold Orchards and purchased Peach Preserves which are absolutely delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this tour with Gray Line and especially Jose. It was GREAT!!!
