The 9/11 Ground Zero Walking Tour

Overview
One of the most important historic days in our lifetime, the events of 9/11 have shaped who we are today. Come with us as we bring you into the story of the day, the tragic loss, the effort to move forward, and the resilience that has propelled the revitalization.

With sensitive care, the events of the day will be explored as you walk in the footsteps of the heroes, survivors, and victims. Along the way you will visit sites like Saint Paul's Chapel, The Oculus, the new World Trade Center site, and finally the official memorial grounds.

Your guide will share with you all the unique features and details to be found throughout the memorial, such as the Pools, FDNY Memorial Wall, The Sphere, The Glade, and finally the Survivor Tree.

We will deepen your experience by sharing the details you could easily miss on your own. The story of this day is about and for all of us. Sharing it together is how we can come to understand, grieve, honor, and ultimately find peace in loss and survival.

We did this tour first thing after arriving in New York and our guide Jonathan was knowledgeable and kind. I learned many new things about the Twin Towers that I didn’t know. As well as many new things about what happened during and after 9/11. It opened my eyes to the true extent that people came together after everything.

Wow, so I’ve been to New York before with my family in 2015 and we had a tour then, me and my partner had another tour today with Jonathan and I can’t express how lovely he was! So kind, funny and explained everything so clearly. I wouldn’t have wanted the tour with anyone else he was honestly fantastic and made the experience really heartwarming.

Jonathan is a very personable and well-informed guide. He manages to convey the sadness and seriousness of the story just as well as he always manages to lighten the mood with something funny or informative. He also has lots of tips on other attractions in New York and is very helpful with all kinds of questions. This tour should be taken by everyone who has the opportunity to do so.
