The Badlands National Park is one of the most underrated parks in the system. Its other worldly spires, layers, winding roads, shadows, colors and history make it extraordinary to visit.

Hay Butte Overlook

Hay Butte Overlook in Badlands National Park is a stunning viewpoint that offers you panoramic views of the park's rugged terrain. The overlook provides a spectacular glimpse of the surrounding wilderness and the vast expanse of the Great Plains. From here, you'll can enjoy stunning sunsets and sunrises, watch wildlife, and take in the beauty of the park's unique rock formations and rugged landscapes.

Pinnacles Overlook

Pinnacles Overlook is one of the best locations in the Badlands. From this stunning viewpoint, you can gaze out at the breathtaking landscape of layered rock formations and jagged spires that stretch out as far as the eye can see. The view is especially mesmerizing during sunrise or sunset, when the colors of the rocks transform into a vivid display of pinks, oranges, and purples. If you're lucky, you might even spot some of the park's resident wildlife, such as bison or bighorn sheep.

Badlands Wall

As we enter the park we'll stop at a location we feel is best for viewing the sunset to see the light change the colors of the soil and cast shadows that made Frank Lloyd Wright say it was his favorite National Park. Picnic Blankets, Folding Chairs, Drinks, Photography, video and more are offered as we take it all in.

Badlands Wilderness Overlook

The Badlands Wilderness Overlook is a stunning vista point located in Badlands National Park. From here, you can see miles of rugged terrain, including jagged rock formations, deep canyons, and colorful badlands. The overlook offers a breathtaking view of the sunset, making it a popular destination for photographers and nature enthusiasts.

Ancient Hunters Overlook

Picture yourself standing on the edge of a rugged cliff, gazing out into an endless expanse of wild terrain. Below you, the Badlands National Park stretches out for miles, its rocky formations and canyons carved by ancient rivers and wind. But this isn't just any overlook - you're standing at the Ancient Hunters Overlook, a spot that has been sacred to Native American tribes for centuries. It's easy to see why they chose this spot - the panoramic views are breathtaking, with the sun setting over the horizon in a blaze of orange and pink. As you take in the beauty around you, it's easy to imagine yourself as one of the ancient hunters, scanning the landscape for prey and marveling at the natural wonders of the world. Whether you're an avid hiker, a history buff, or just someone who loves the great outdoors, the Ancient Hunters Overlook is a must-see destination in Badlands National Park.

Big Badlands Overlook

Located in the heart of Badlands National Park, the Bigfoot Pass Overlook is one of the most captivating natural wonders you will ever come across. As you stand on the edge of this magnificent overlook, you will be mesmerized by the stunning panoramic views of the rugged rock formations and otherworldly landscapes that stretch as far as the eye can see. Bigfoot Pass is named after Chief Bigfoot (Spotted Elk) and is near the location Chief Spotted Elk led his tribe of mostly women and children to Wounded Knee Creek where many Native Americans met their end, unarmed, by the U.S. Army.

I highly recommend this trip, Dan showed me many places in Sarasota I hadn’t thought of. If you want to see the beauty and history of Sarasota give them a call

My husband and I were the only people on this tour so we got an EXCELLENT one-on-one tour with Daniel. He is super knowledgeable about Sarasota and its history, but not at all boring! He speaks very clearly, the van was super clean and comfortable. Need a restaurant recommendation........he's got that covered. too. HOLY MOLY! We had a great time! And hearing about you and Rocky........

I cannot say enough about this experience. While visiting my parents recently, we decided to take a day in Sarasota. I never had seen the city and wanted to get as much out of it as I could with the limited time we had. A TOUR!, we decided. We were back and forth between My XO Adventures and other typical trolley tour companies. After debate and reading reviews, we settled on the Sarasota Sensations tour by My XO Adventures. We did find it strange that almost every review of this company seemed to mention "Daniel", but we rolled the dice and booked a morning tour. What a pleasant time we had. Daniel, we find out, IS essentially the company. We drove into Sarasota, parked at a garage and Daniel pulled up to the meeting spot in a very professional and very comfortable passenger van. He proceeded to take us all around Sarasota, walked us all around the Ringling grounds and drove us through many areas of Sarasota that the trolley tours couldn't even possibly navigate, even if they wanted to. We never felt rushed, and Daniel had so much experiential knowledge about the city that we would be lucky if we could retain even half of it. He gave us all the skinny on the best places to eat and drink and truly treated us like VIPs. I highly recommend this company!
