This guided float trip is perfect for those who aren’t quite ready for big rapids, but still enjoy the outdoors. Children as young as 3 years-old are welcome on this introductory white water rafting trip, as well as non-swimmers and rafting beginners. This float trip offers you plenty of chances to relax and even take a dip in the river!
***THE FAMILY FLOAT TRIPIS IS FOR GROUPS WITH SMALL CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OLD. IF YOUR GROUP IS ALL AGES 8 AND ABOVE (EVEN IF YOUR GROUP HAS NEVER BEEN RAFTING BEFORE) WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND CALLING.

My wife, two daughters and myself arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled time, as instructed in our confirmation email. My wife was hesitant and nervous about rafting to begin with, so having to wait another 30 minutes past our scheduled depart time and she and my daughters were ready to just leave if we hadn't already paid. After an hour of waiting we finally started the pretrip stuff. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because our guide Deb was awesome. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and she really knows what she is doing to keep everyone safe. We really enjoyed the trip and both of my kids commented on how much they liked Deb and wanted to go back to do the upper next time. This company also helped us get our photos after we got home and regretted not buying the photos while we were there. So overall a good experience once we got going. If coming from Gatlinburg, it's about a 40 minute drive on a back road, but it's worth the drive. Really a nice setup.

Had an awesome time with Pirate Captain Kyle! Had 2 young kids and 2 adults and he made the trip fun and exciting for all! Been to several spots rafting and none of them compare! Best of all they are the longest and cheapest on the Lower river float! No brainier!!!!

Took both our daughters on this trip Ages 11 and 4. They both had a great time. Alan was friendly and knowlegable of the area. We saw some wild life and enjoyed the afternoon on the river
