This guided float trip is perfect for those who aren’t quite ready for big rapids, but still enjoy the outdoors. Children as young as 3 years-old are welcome on this introductory white water rafting trip, as well as non-swimmers and rafting beginners. This float trip offers you plenty of chances to relax and even take a dip in the river!
***THE FAMILY FLOAT TRIPIS IS FOR GROUPS WITH SMALL CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OLD. IF YOUR GROUP IS ALL AGES 8 AND ABOVE (EVEN IF YOUR GROUP HAS NEVER BEEN RAFTING BEFORE) WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND CALLING.

The description said it was good for all ages, but it was a bit understated because grown adults could’ve handled a faster moving rid (it was like being at a kiddie park ride it was very slow). Also, there was some significant disorganization and when they say don’t be late, don’t worry…they’ll hold up everything even if everyone else is inconvenienced by it.

I apologize the trip wasn't what you expected. The Lower Float trip allows 3 year-old kids, so it is the milder of the two sections we offer. The Upper whitewater allows 8 year-olds. We suggest the Upper for most people unless they have small kids. Both are suitable for first time rafters. And we do our best to stay on schedule but sometimes we get behind as there are a lot of variables to account for. Hopefully you return for the Upper section and have more excitement and it fills your expectations!

Really fun trip to take with younger kids, location was easy to find, that staff were all super friendly and laid back. Our guide Justin was great with both kids (5 and 7), possibly because he is just a grown up kid, but he made it especially memorable for them!
