Rafting with Outdoor Adventures was a BLAST ! Four friends from LA came to visit and wanted to do the lower (milder) Pigeon River ! We had such a great time they want to do the Upper Pigeon when they come back. Office staff was great, the guides suiting you up were fun and our guide , Tim , was so much fun and very knowledgeable about the area. I've rafted with another company in that area several times that I loved, but they may have some competition on my scale ! A GREAT trip !

I rafted the Upper Pigeon River with a family of 8, ranging from 28 years to 60 years. Everyone had so much fun; it was my favorite part of the week in Tennessee. They gave us a bigger raft so all 8 of us would fit in it with the guide, which was great. The rapids probably aren't as intense as you might find on more serious rafting rivers, but they were enough to completely empty one of the other rafts traveling nearby us. Our guide Josh was awesome, friendly and entertaining. This trip is very reasonably priced, and they also took great pictures of our raft, which they sold to us on CD after the trip. My only complaint was that the trip was too short...I thought we were probably halfway done, when in fact we were at the end of the trip. I would definitely recommend this company.

Outdoor Adventures does a WONDERFUL job -- from the time you check-in until you return with a HUGE smile on your face after your rafting trip!!!! Everyone is so nice! We rafted on the lower Pigeon River and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very relaxing. I wanted to raft on the upper Pigeon, but I was a little hesitant doing so with our youngest child. Our guide, William, assured us he would do his very best to keep her as safe as possible. We decided to go back the next day to do the upper section. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! William was very cautious and extremely knowledgeable and hilarious!!!! I would recommend this company to everyone. WILLIAM is the best guide out there!!! :)
