This was the best experience of a week long trip to the Smoky Mountains for me, my husband and our two college-aged daughters. and we've done a lot of things this week. In hindsight I wish I'd signed us up for the back to back whitewater package. Fortner was our guide and he was absolutely terrific! He is a very experienced guide, knowledgeable about the Pigeon River and the general area and has a great sense of humor. He taught us well and put everyone at ease so we could relax and have fun. Do this! You won't regret it!!!
