I had always wanted to fly in a helicopter so chose to do it by seeing the New York skyline on New Years Day. It was really a great experience and so glad I did it, a great way to start the New Year. Pilot was really informative as well despite the fact he must do it several times a day! Quite expensive but worth it. Just wish they would include the $40 per person service charge in the ticket price.

This tour was exceptional! it was a great experience for my parents and me. In good weather the view of New York is beautiful. The pilot was friendly, he explained very well the history of buildings in New York. We took off from the heliport of Manhattan. At the beginning we flew over the Hudson River, we went over Manhattan and over of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler building. The aerial view is very different from that on ground. We were able to take photos and videos. We also flew over Ellis Island and the Statue Of Liberty.These 20 minutes were exceptionnal. When we came back to the heliport, the pilot proposed to take a picture in front of the helicopter and we accepted. I recommend this tour, even if the price of 258€ per person is a little expensive, it is largely compensated.

The booking process was frustrating. We were registered for a cheaper flight than the one we paid for, we received a ‘thank you’ email before we even arrived in NYC, and the day before our schedules flight we rang to confirm only to be told we didn’t have a booking (despite us having receipts and confirmation details to the contrary). BUT ... when we arrived it was a very positive experience. The ground staff were wonderful and the pilot made for a great commentator. A very well-oiled machine for managing safety.
