This was hands down my favorite Chicago excursion. And that is saying a lot considering I’ve been on many fantastic tours since visiting this marvelous city. My tour guide, Peter was full of interesting historical facts. I also recommend the gangster and ghost tour.

I've lived in Chicago all my life but never took this tour before. Our guide was excellent, knowledgable, funny and tried to get to know each of us on the tour. He knows the theater well. He's a little hazy on Chicago history dates: when the Lake Street el and State Street subway were built. But overall a good job.

The theater is old and it is very well kept. There are two tours daily, at 12 and at 1 pm. The tour includes the area for artists. You can stand on the stage and get a wonderful view of the sitting areas.
