I'm giving this 5 stars because the theater deserves 5 stars. This is not their fault. This is TripAdvisor's fault. There is no 1:00 tour. There hasn't been in some time. We learned that from the kind employee at the box office who had to break the bad news. He also stated that the theater has informed TripAdvisor of this several times. "I really wish they would stop selling tickets to the 1:00 tour." He was kind enough to offer to honor the tickets for the next day, but, unfortunately, we were not available for that. Because we booked through TripAdvisor, we have to try to get our money back from them. Saw 2 shows at the theater while in town. Have always had a great experience there. Theater gets 5 stars. TripAdvisor on the other hand? We'll see how that refund goes.

It was a fun tour. My friend and I enjoyed learning the history of the Chicago theatre and seeing beautiful theatre interior decoration. It was a lot more fun than we expected!

The tour was very informative and interesting. Our guide was fascinating to listen. I did not like the fact that the ticket price in the theater is much cheaper than you sell. I believe the tour was shortened, we were not able to see the stage and backstage of the theater ( Madonna’s concert).
