We are an Austin, TX-based global custom event design company offering scavenger hunts and other events in 150 cities in North America and beyond! Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment!

Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city! Note: You MUST provide a correct, working, domestic phone number in your reservation in order for your hunt to be possible, since it is remotely hosted. Each team must bring at least one fully charged smart phone that has GPS and that can can send and receive data, photos, videos, and text messages. If you have an international phone number or encounter other technical difficulties, you must complete the game using WhatsApp or email. You can easily provide us with this contact information through a viator message in advance of your hunt.

I say in the kindest of ways possible that this is not at all what we expected. We have done a tour of similar advertisement and name in the past and it far exceeded our expectations thus we were excited to do this tour. I am confused as to what we paid for other than to be sent a deck of cards over text. We were under the impression that for a virtual tour that there would be a full guide throughout or it would be app driven not just a desk of cards that we had to sort through and read. It was lacking any form of a scavenger hunt..it was more here are some cool sites to see. Send pictures. The dares were awkward and not sure what they have to do with a scavenger hunt. If you are going to send a group a set of cards at least make it in scavenger hunt form. Where you ask the question. Find the location. Send a picture and then get sent the next clue or card. The best part was the smiley intro video. I would highly reconsider the format of this tour. And go back to the drawing board.

You booked a non-traditional creative photo scavenger hunt, as described. It sounds like you were expecting a treasure hunt by definition. We offer those as well, and you would need to purchase those as custom events. As a one time courtesy, we invite you to enjoy one of those for 20% next time, but that wasn’t what you had booked. It does not appear that you participated in much of your game at all, so it’s understandable that you didn’t enjoy it. Our live, interactive remote adventure coach we advertised and provided for you in your game was available to provide you with a top-notch experience and tried, but you participated very little, unfortunately.
