I felt the tour and tour guide deserve 5 stars (3 hours), but i felt a little shorted about the actual HH Holmes information. I loved going into areas I've never visited! If you love Chicago history, this is a great tour, if you want to learn a lot about HH Holmes, you might feel you want more.

This was an awesome tour - learned so much - it held my interest from beginning to end plus I got to see parts of Chicago I would have never seen otherwise. Extremely knowledgeable host. It would be great if the post office basement could somehow be made a part of the tour - eventually. If at all possible. Because of the information I learned on the tour, I was able to do some research on the area of town I just moved to a few months ago and found that it was part of the "stockyards" as well as "skid row"...lovely.

The tour guide was at the pick up location at least 45 minutes early and the bus was on time, so it was very well organized. Had a drink at the Congress Hotel before we started the tour and learned about the ghosts at the Congress. This was a very informative tour, not only about HH Holmes, but about Chicago in general in the 1890s.The guide and the bus driver were funny and had tons of stories. Lots of cool stops and information about the World's Fair to help set the scene, before we went to the location of the Murder Castle. I have lived in Chicago for 20 years and this tour went to places I had not seen before and I learned things I didn't know about the city. Highly recommended this tour to all visitors to the city and to those who live here.
