This tour was perfect for what we were looking for. We really wanted a historically based tour…our guide Gib was fantastic. The stops along the way offered the right mix of history and a little bit of chill. I was particularly pleased that unlike some tours I’ve been on or that we witnessed here, our guide was excellent at finding places to avoid other tours. The timing of each location also seemed perfect. This was definitely a highlight of the trip!

Great tour if you want to hear the spooky stories and the history that goes along with it (without getting too scared). You will walk around and see the sites, but you will not enter any houses or cemeteries (takes away some of the scare factor—which is a plus or minus depending on what you’re looking for). Grace was our tour guide and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable and fun, she gave us some extra info as we walked, which was great and helped us to learn more about the history of Savannah!! We also had a member of the group with a wheelchair. Grace was very conscious of having the member of our group in a wheelchair and stopped short of hard to reach areas, allowing them to remain on the hard ground and still hear her speak. She was patience and waited for all of us to gather around. Even with 29 people, it felt like a small manageable group; the quality of the tour was not negatively impacted by having a large group of people! Bottom line: if you’re looking for a not super scary, but mildly spooky, historical, ghost story, walking tour where you do not have equipment or enter the haunted buildings, look no further, and ask for Grace!! 😁
