Enjoy one hour of Alaskan Lumberjacks battling it out in chopping, sawing, tree climbing, axe throwing all wrapped up in history and lore. Get all your rowdy friends together and join in the Alaskan axe-tion in this amazing competition of skill and strength. Meet our Jacks after the show for pictures and then loosen your belt and grab your camera as you sightsee your way to the rustic yet elegant George Inlet Lodge for an all-you-can-eat Dungeness crab feast. Rounding out the menu are baby red potatoes, fresh oriental salad and a scrumptious blueberry cheesecake dessert. The return drive showcases charming Ketchikan and its dramatic mountain, forest and coastal scenery.

What To Expect

Experience Alaska Tours

This tour does include a meal. One glass of white wine, red wine or Alaskan Amber beer is included in price. Additional glasses of alcohol can be purchased at the lodge. Soda, coffee, tea and water are complimentary. Alternative menu items include Cajun, grilled or lemon peppered chicken for non-seafood eaters. Ravioli with pesto sauce is available for vegetarians.

The lumberjack show was fun. It's a little hokey but the skills of the lumberjacks are real and impressive. The crab lunch was fabulous! We saved a lot of money by buying the combo ticket on Viator over buying the excursion off the ship or separately.

Easy walking (1 block away) to this venue from cruise ship Docks #1 & #2. During the summer they offer multiple show times. We had a fun time seeing this show. The lumberjacks are tough athletes and very competitive. The MC gets the crowds alive and makes 2 teams, the USA and Canada for you to root for. The teams compete in a variety of events from axe throwing, axe log cutting, team sawing, speed pole climbing and pond long tumbling. BOTTOM LINE: Fun time with our grandsons here. The lumberjacks and MC do a great job entertaining. Everyone will be cheering for their team to win! Before the show you can visit their souvenir showroom or afterwards as you leave the venue. MY RATING: 9/10

This was our third time to Ketchikan and our third trip to the George Inlet for the best all-you-can eat crab feast on the planet. The food at the George Inlet is the best crab with a wonderful blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Don’t miss this! We also enjoyed the Great Alaska Lumberjack Show. It’s a short walk from the cruise port and well worth the price. It was a fun show to watch and there was much interaction with the crowd.
