It was really fun. My wife and I took our kids: 13, 11, and 2 1/2. They all loved it. So much to see. We got to hear a bit about the Haygoods’ story. Great performances that were a cool spectacle. They keep it moving with a lot of varieties of musical genres so your kids (even little ones) will stay interested.
My favorite part was that it was very American, recognizing veterans, ending with the national anthem, etc. I got a veterans discount. Definitely worth going.
Some tips:
If you want snacks, make sure to get there around 30 min early to get in line for their concessions.
If you ordered tickets online, you have to go to the ticket counter to get them printed to show the ushers.
They take a family picture when you walk in, with the bright stage as the background behind you. So enter with your whole family if you want that picture. I waited in line for a snack and didn’t get the picture with my family.
If you want the best viewing experience, pick the center section about 10 rows back. I think you’ll see best. But anywhere is good.
