The History of Old New York Shared Tour

Overview
New York City emerged from a Dutch trading post to one of the greatest cities in the world. It was the site of the first federal hall of the United States Government, the place where Washington, Hamilton, and Jefferson lived, the location of a slave market, the place where the stock market was created, and numerous other historical, political, and cultural aspects that helped shape of our current society. In this walking tour of Old New York, we'll dive into the history of early New York, explore the Revolutionary War in NYC, and talk about the influence of Alexander Hamilton, the key figure that established American independence, and how this impacted what, and who, America is today. On this tour, you'll visit many places where the history of this country all started.
