It was Amazing! It was breathtaking and I loved every minute of it. I would tell everyone to go at least once in your life. You won’t regret it I’m sure!

We were on a bus trip with limited time. We received a call stating that we missed our 12pm reservation however, I booked and our tickets read 2:30 so this was wrong. Several other people in the group had the same experience with the tour having one time and tickets having another. We arrived at our ticketed time finding that it a 2 hour wait just to start the 2 hour tour!! We did not have 4 hours for this as we had other reservations following the experience in expectation the tour would last as advertised, 2 hours. The workers at Maid of the Mist are not the same as the tour company so this created even more confusion. The Maid of the Mist employees were extremely rude! There was no definite lines going onto the boat. Once you received your tickets, which are not actually purchased beforehand through the tour company, (they purchase the tickets like normal at the ticket widow when all participants are there) it is just who can push their way to the front better. This also creates alot of frustration for people who have been in line for an hour or longer and are being pushed out of the way by people who have waited far less time. NOT AN EXPERIENCE I WILL EVER DO AGAIN!!! We ended up having to leave because of time restraints and are still working our way to get refunded for not only the time mix up on the tour company side but the mis advertisement of how long the tour actually takes.

If you read the description on our tour, it is well worth the time. You chose to go forth with a tour that you were on time restraints and it is our fault? When you get to the line for tickets, welcome to Niagara Falls, there is always a line, there is not a chance of getting through quicker than with a guide, we use vouchers. Sorry you came to a tourist destination and it was busy. Not sure if that means we didn't do our jobs as guides giving you a better experience and understanding of the Niagara Falls. In regards to the Maid to the Mist staff, they are a totally separate entity. Sorry you felt the need to give a bad rating because of Niagara Falls being busy.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Maid of the Mist boat ride. However, there is absolutely no reason to overpay but purchasing this tour. It still took about 2 hours to get on to the boat. About 30 minutes to get to the elevators after the boat. Just purchase your tickets there and save yourself money.
