The Museum of Flight
The Museum of flight is the world’s largest independent air and space museum. Located at Seattle’s oldest airport, it displays over 160 airplanes and spacecraft on a 23-acre campus. The museum’s six buildings include the original Boeing Aircraft factory. As one of the region’s top attractions, we offer flight simulators and dozens of fun, interactive exhibits and family activities. The ā€œGreat Galleryā€ is a breathtaking, 6-story glass building with 43 aircraft from the 1920s to the present, including a rare M-21 Blackbird spy plane and jet fighters from the Korean and Vietnam wars. Not to mention the some thrilling full-motion and 3D flight simulators!

Kids will enjoy this place. Pack some snacks and water if traveling with kids. It can get tiring if it is warm outside. The gift center is well-stocked and has a variety of items.

Wow! This facility tops the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. 5 planes open for walkthrough. Loved being inside the Boeing 747. Air Force One. Concorde. Space shuttle training plane. WWI and WWII exhibits best we’ve ever seen. Featured decorated Pilots from all over the world - Germany and Russia. Female pilot exhibits great. Flight simulators to play with. Cafe busy and food just right. Volunteers and staff knowledgeable and helpful. Allow 3-4 hours to experience it all.
