What To Expect

Hollywood Sign

We will go all the way to the very top behind the Hollywood Sign and get incredible panoramic views of the Los Angeles and The San Fernando Valley. Additionally, we will get pictures in front of the Sign at my super awesome (and secret) photo spots.

Griffith Observatory

This is one of the legendary landmarks in Griffith Park. It appeared in several movies. Notably: Rebel Without a Cause (1955); The Terminator (1984); La La Land (2016).

Griffith Park

Enter the largest municipal park in Los Angeles (3x the size of NYC's Central Park). We spend the entire time inside of Griffith Park!

Hollywood

From the top we will be able to see the famous Hollywood Skyline including The Capitol Records Building and the Roosevelt Hotel!

Downtown

We'll see the famous Downtown Los Angeles Skyline from the top of the Hollywood Sign including the U.S. Bank Building, the Korean Air building (tallest building in Los Angeles) and many others.

Burbank

We'll see the beautiful San Fernando Valley including Burbank and the San Gabriel Mountains!

My friend and I loved the hike! Jon was our guide and he is so animated and had us cracking up! He is knowledgeable about the history of the site plus places we viewed on the way. I’ve read other reviews about only needed a starting point address to do this hike but he took us through twists and turns that we would not have found otherwise. In fact, we would’ve probably ended up trespassing into someone’s backyard as the trail goes through residential areas. The weather was beautiful and we appreciated the breeze as there are points of steep inclines. Might not have been as fun in the middle of summer.

We had so much fun walking up to the Hollywood sign. JB brought some bottles of water and a snack. We were a group of 10 and he always told us how long it’ll take to the next stop. JB took as many pictures as everyone wanted to (with own or his device). He really took his time and didn’t rush. We were so proud that we made it all the way to the top of the hill. It was an amazing experience and we would totally recommend to book this tour!!! We loved the fact that JB gave us so many background informations! It was fun! Go ahead and book with Hollywood.hikes! ☺️

JB was an amazing tour guide, he provided bants, great photos and snacks. Defo would recommend this tour, as a solo traveller I had the best time and got to meet other solo travellers too.
