My family and I found our guide to be a great story teller, but he focused more on history and less on ghosts and incidents of hauntings. He tended towards suddenly shouting like a jump scare to make his tales seem scary. We overheard other ghost stories being told by other tours/guides that were never mentioned by our guide.

Most of our guest enjoy learning the true history of The Revolutionary City as opposed to fabricated tales made up by some other companies. The Original Tour is family friendly and historically accurate. Thank you for taking the time to review your experience.

Chose this company based on the great reviews praising the interesting guides. As any tour, the guide makes or breaks the experience. Our guide (not one mentioned in other reviews), just did not have any dramatic flair. Our 11 yo loved it, the rest of us were bored.

Lots of fun!! Last night we did the Extreme (8pm 3-hour tour) with Denny. What a fantastic night, and the 3 hours flew by like 5 minutes. This is the tour if you're not looking for some silly costumed character with boring stories. This tour with Denny is a must-do, and I look forward to returning next year. Our group was small, with about 12 people, and everyone experienced activity. On my first trip, I was the biggest skeptic and thought for sure our guide was faking the dowsing rods. Last night, I had 3 hours of questions being answered, and I did not touch or move a thing! I would challenge to left, right, cross, or open and these were not chance movements. It freaked out my husband and son!
