Heavily prefer the other location though we did appreciate the hospitality from Garrick and Rhett. Room was well put together, we struggled a bit at the beginning but soon found our footing. Room would have been even better if the puzzles were not broken. One puzzle in particular, we knew we had it right but nothing activated so we thought we were wrong. When the game Master texted in to give us a free clue, it was a clue for the exact puzzle we had just did and thought we had wrong. (Those switched sat in the right position for over 10 minutes) We then found out it was broken, that's why it was not activating anything. We had to force it to flip in the right direction and then hold it ( that specific switch had to forced in the direction it wasn't supposed to be facing to begin with). When the employee came in to greet us (tall gentlemen with the afro, unfortunately didn't get his name) he basically gaslighted us when we pointed out the broken piece. He claimed we were wrong and it wasn't broken when it clearly was broken. We mentioned we would have escaped at least 10 mins prior, he was quick to comment and say we wouldn't have. Very rude employee, quickly brushed us off and our comments. I personally know how escape rooms work as I have worked at one for the last 5+ years and am currently the assistant manager there. We never treat our customers this way when something is broken, it is our fault and we apologize.
Thank you to Rhett and Garrick, you both were an absolute pleasure.
