Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University

Adventure Aquarium

Adventure Aquarium is just minutes from downtown Philadelphia on the Camden Waterfront and features one-of-a-kind exhibits with more than 8,500 aquatic species throughout two million gallons of water. The Aquarium is home to the largest collection of sharks on the East Coast, including the only great hammerhead shark on exhibit in the United States, the only aquarium in the world to exhibit hippos, one of only six facilities in the US to have Little Blue penguins as permanent residents and exhibits the longest Shark Bridge in the world, a unique V-shaped rope suspension bridge just inches over Shark Realm.

The African American Museum in Philadelphia

The African American Museum in Philadelphia was the first museum in a major U.S. city dedicated to the culture and heritage of African Americans and the African diaspora. Eastern State Penitentiary

Eastern State Penitentiary was once the most famous and expensive prison in the world, but stands today in ruin, a haunting world of crumbling cellblocks and empty guard towers. Known for its grand architecture and strict discipline, this was the world's first true "penitentiary," a prison designed to inspire penitence, or true regret, in the hearts of prisoners. Its vaulted, sky-lit cells once held many of America's most notorious criminals, including bank robber "Slick Willie" Sutton and Al Capone.

Fort Mifflin

History comes to life at Fort Mifflin, one of the only intact Revolutionary War battlefields and the only fort in Philadelphia! The National Historic Landmark encompasses 40 acres of land and 8 surviving buildings. The Fort is best known for withstanding the greatest bombardment of the American Revolution.

Christ Church

Christ Church Burial Ground is one of America’s most interesting Colonial and Revolution-era graveyards, with 1,400 markers on two beautiful acres right in the heart of historic Philadelphia. The Burial Ground is the final resting place of some of our most prominent leaders including Benjamin Franklin and four other signers of the Declaration of Independence. This year the historic burial ground marks its 295th year.

Museum of the American Revolution

The Museum of the American Revolution explores the dynamic story of the American Revolution using its expansive collection of Revolutionary-era weapons, personal items, documents, and works of art. Immersive galleries, dynamic theaters, and recreated historical environments bring to life the events, people, and ideals of our nation’s founding and engage people in the history and continuing relevance of the American Revolution.

National Constitution Center

The National Constitution Center is America’s first and only museum dedicated entirely to awareness and understanding of the US Constitution. The museum’s main exhibits include 3 attractions: Freedom Rising, a multimedia theatrical production in a 350-seat star-shaped theater; The Story of We the People, an interactive exhibit in which you can try on an actual Supreme Court robe and watch yourself on the big screen as you recite the Presidential Oath of Office; and Signer’s Hall, where you’ll see life-size bronze statues of the Founding Fathers present at the signing of the Constitution on September 17, 1787. National Liberty Museum

Some noteworthy exhibitions include a 21-foot Chihuly glass flame illuminating heroes from the past and present, a colorful sculpture of two children made entirely of jelly beans, and a stained glass chess set with a witty take on tolerance.

Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts

Internationally known for its collection of 19th and 20th century American paintings, sculptures, and works on paper, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts is a treasure of a museum in downtown Philadelphia. With some 14,000 works of art in its collection, the museum curators produce masterful exhibitions focusing on themes like women in the arts, fantasy and nostalgia, and the role of art in times of war. Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum

One of the world’s most noteworthy collection of race cars awaits you at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum. The museum, which is actually the personal collection of Philadelphia native Dr. Fred Simeone, celebrates “The Spirit of Competition” through 21 exhibits. Although the museum was established in 2008, the 65 cars in the permanent collection were obtained over 50 years and include rare cars from the early 1900’s through the 1970’s.

Mutter Museum

Medical history is more interesting than you ever could have imagined at the Mütter Museum of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. Its unique collection of some 20,000 specimens emphasizes the abnormal, featuring giant skeletons and enlarged organs. Its permanent exhibitions include sections of Albert Einstein’s brain preserved in glass slides, the death cast of the original Siamese Twins – whose autopsy was performed in the museum – and Dr. Joseph Hyrtl’s collection of 139 human skulls. The 19th-century “cabinet museum” setting of the collection’s objects and artifacts adds to its distinctive atmosphere.

Wharton Esherick Museum

Truly a hidden treasure in Greater Philadelphia, the Wharton Esherick Museum is actually the home and studio of master woodworker and native Philadelphian, Wharton Esherick. The studio was built and expanded over a period of 40 years. Today, the National Historic Landmark, featuring a massive spiral oak staircase, houses more than 300 of the artist’s works, including furniture, sculptures, and other furnishings. Esherick’s whimsical spirit and passion are represented in every inch of this imaginative studio and residence.

Tickets are not accepted at most attractions listen on ticket. Don’t buy this ticket from viator . It’s a scam and my bank is looking into this mess

The pass is good if you choose not to use the bus. If you have only 2 days try to visit as many museums as possible or do the walking tours if you are into that, otherwise is not worth it, and you will end up pay a overpriced entry for those museums. We had a 2 days pass, the first day we got a good deal because we had 2 walking tours, one museum and the Philly cheesesteak, the second day we got screwed with the bus, and we pretty much spent more than half a day running from a stop to another because the bus was not stoping to all stops and waiting for it. Definitely they don’t know what a hop on hop off bus is.
