The African American Museum in Philadelphia

The African American Museum in Philadelphia was the first museum in a major U.S. city dedicated to the culture and heritage of African Americans and the African diaspora. Since its founding in 1976, the museum has sought to give a platform to the stories of African Americans in the shaping of our nation.

Battleship New Jersey

The USS New Jersey is Admiral “Bull” Halsey’s flagship and the nation’s most decorated battleship. Eastern State Penitentiary

Eastern State Penitentiary was once the most famous and expensive prison in the world, but stands today in ruin, a haunting world of crumbling cellblocks and empty guard towers. Known for its grand architecture and strict discipline, this was the world's first true "penitentiary," a prison designed to inspire penitence, or true regret, in the hearts of prisoners. Its vaulted, sky-lit cells once held many of America's most notorious criminals, including bank robber "Slick Willie" Sutton and Al Capone.

Fort Mifflin

History comes to life at Fort Mifflin, one of the only intact Revolutionary War battlefields and the only fort in Philadelphia! The National Historic Landmark encompasses 40 acres of land and 8 surviving buildings. The Fort is best known for withstanding the greatest bombardment of the American Revolution.

Christ Church

Christ Church Burial Ground is one of America’s most interesting Colonial and Revolution-era graveyards, with 1,400 markers on two beautiful acres right in the heart of historic Philadelphia. The Burial Ground is the final resting place of some of our most prominent leaders including Benjamin Franklin and four other signers of the Declaration of Independence. This year the historic burial ground marks its 295th year.

National Constitution Center

The National Constitution Center is America’s first and only museum dedicated entirely to awareness and understanding of the US Constitution. The museum’s main exhibits include 3 attractions: Freedom Rising, a multimedia theatrical production in a 350-seat star-shaped theater; The Story of We the People, an interactive exhibit in which you can try on an actual Supreme Court robe and watch yourself on the big screen as you recite the Presidential Oath of Office; and Signer’s Hall, where you’ll see life-size bronze statues of the Founding Fathers present at the signing of the Constitution on September 17, 1787. National Liberty Museum

Find your own place in the story of liberty at the National Liberty Museum, located in the heart of historic Philadelphia. Glass art is the primary medium at this one-of-a-kind museum that tells the story of America's progression toward freedom and democracy through interactive exhibits and contemporary works of art. Some noteworthy exhibitions include a 21-foot Chihuly glass flame illuminating heroes from the past and present, a colorful sculpture of two children made entirely of jelly beans, and a stained glass chess set with a witty take on tolerance.

Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts

Internationally known for its collection of 19th and 20th century American paintings, sculptures, and works on paper, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts is a treasure of a museum in downtown Philadelphia. We’ve used passes like these before without issue, but this is not one of them! A prime example is that we’d booked to do the ghost tour on the pass (we’d bought a 1 day pass not a flex pass) but when we arrived at the tour the owner told us that we were not allowed to go because the pass said “scan limit reached”. She said we must’ve bought a flex pass and had reached the limit. We explained (and sent screenshots) of our pass showing it was clearly a 1 day pass and we’d used it that morning with her company for the constitutional walking tour so logic would say it’s still valid! She wouldn’t let us go on the tour unless we provided a credit card which we clearly weren’t going to do given we’d already paid for the pass. So this was either an issue with the pass or the vendor but either way as the customer we were completely stuck in the middle. It makes the pass not worth it at all. Some of the other vendors we visited had issues scanning it (the app was slow or kept logging them out) but otherwise eventually worked. Needless to say it was not a seamless experience and we’re waiting to hear back from the company on what can be done about the fact we weren’t permitted by the vendor owner to do an entire attraction! It’s not as simple as “whoops our bad, here’s a replacement ticket”, we live in Australia and have now left Philly and are travelling home, so not exactly an easy fix!

Visited the Mutter Museum, which indicated this pass is not accepted. Visited the Penitentiary without issue.

Tickets are not accepted at most attractions listen on ticket. Don’t buy this ticket from viator . It’s a scam and my bank is looking into this mess
