I went on the Salem Witch Walk with my 26-year-old daughter and my 17-year-old daughter and her friend today. We had a wonderful guide, Tom, who was animated, warm, funny and informative. He shared his love and knowledge of the ancient practices of witchcraft and how it is woven throughout our lives in ways we no longer recognize. We saw lots of interesting parts of Salem, with encouragement from Tom to delve a bit deeper, and heard some fascinating history of Salem along with personal insight into witchcraft as a positive thing, rather than the version portrayed in horror stories and such.
We all loved Tom and I noticed people passing by getting drawn in and hanging around to listen in on parts of the tour. He is entertaining and sincere and we thoroughly enjoyed our time roaming Salem with him. Though my older daughter was disappointed when he mentioned his wife...:oP
