With this being our second trip to Salem, we really didn't want to do another ghost tour. We decided on the Witch Walk and were very pleased. The walk started with our witch guide who performed a welcoming ritual. It was very interesting, and not at all over the top, scary, cheesy, or otherwise. It was a very natural, pleasing ceremony that was gracefully accepted and participated in by all in our group. Our guide for the night was very well spoken, very informed, and eager to answer questions outside the standard tour fare. It was a great way to open yourself to view another side of Salem. The side that sees witchcraft as a means to get closer with your world, your self, and each other. Would definitely recommend taking the tour.

I didn't know what to expect on this tour in the month of October; thought it might be cheesy, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our guide DEMETRIUS, was very informative on the history of the Salem Witch Trials, and dispelling myths about the practice of Wiccan and the behavior of Witches. I'm glad that I participated in this tour, and I would recommend it to all tourists who visit Salem, Massachusetts.

I dragged my husband a bit out of his comfort zone to go to the Salem Witch Tour. The tour began with a pagan ritual blessing in an alleyway behind the shop where it started, which was interesting for someone who knew basically nothing about their rituals. Tom was a good tour guide, with a sometimes quirky sense of humour. The talk included information about modern witches, historical Salem and the witch trials, and was quite varied and interesting. While you obviously have some sort of interest in the witch trials of 1692 if you are visiting Salem, I would recommend this tour for a bit of a change from the norm.
