My friend booked this tour ahead of time, for our girls weekend getaway.. And what a great tour indeed!!! If it's your first time visiting Salem, MA., than this is THE tour to attend. Beginning with a brief lesson in Witchcraft, including a ritual, and traveling throughout various important sights in the town, our tour guide Tom was extremely knowledgeable in explaining everything. This is not a ghost hunting tour, or pirate tour, etc. This tour will actually teach you something about the city and its traditions. I have been to Salem multiple times and this tour taught me things I didn't know. 5-stars indeed! Keep up the good work.

This didn't cover as much history as I thought but it was more of a "modern witch tour" which was super interesting. Tom, our tour guide, definitely has the "Tour Guide" thing down. He was funny, entertaining, interesting and made the 90 minute + tour seem very short.

I was a little nervous about this tour because we didn't have much time in Salem and I wanted to learn as much as I could about the historical events - I was afraid it would lean too heavily on the side of explaning witchcraft. The mix was perfect - plenty of information about the history of various religions and the role of witches, but I also got all of my questions answered about what happened so long ago. Tom was our tour guide, he is a lot of fun and knows a ton of facts about Salem (and history and religion as well) - and keeps everything moving and entertaining along the way. He'll also tell you some fun facts the other tours won't :) Everyone in our group (kids 7 and 10, parents and grandparents) were kept excited and interested, which to me says it all. So glad we did this.
